H.E. Mr. Mohammad Boroujerdi, the esteemed Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Jakarta, held a significant meeting with H.E Mr. Bambang Susatyo, the Chairman of the Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly, on Tuesday, November 6, 2023. During this notable encounter, he conveyed profound gratitude for Indonesia's resolute stance on the Palestine issue over the past three weeks, notably highlighting the monumental demonstration of two million individuals convened on November 5 at Monas Square, notably in attendance were distinguished Indonesian officials, including the esteemed speakers of the House of Representatives and the People's Consultative Assembly, along with the esteemed Foreign Minister of Republic of Indonesia. This impactful assembly was regarded as a resounding source of solace and inspiration for the Palestinian populace and the larger Islamic world. In the course of the meeting, both dignitaries underscored the robust parliamentary relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Indonesia. Further, they shed light on the successful official visit of H.E. Mr. Raisi, the esteemed President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, to Indonesia in May 2023. In this context, they underscored the necessity of continuing negotiations between the two countries to implement the 11 memorandums of understanding signed during this historic visit, particularly in the fields of health and well-being.
